GROW as a program was launched in 2013 by Rogers Park Business Alliance, which continues to manage and support its expansion. Its curriculum is highly interactive and includes basic business knowledge, specialty subject education plus high quality technical and specialty assistance consultations. GROW is led by RPBA’s staff who, along with leading business, education, marketing and legal experts, deliver a comprehensive program.
Sheree Moratto, Sustainability Director of Rogers Park Business Alliance
Sheree focuses on economic, social and environmental sustainability initiatives including directing Rogers Park’s award-winning farmers market Glenwood Sunday Market and its food access programs as well as the GROW Entrepreneurial Training and Help Desk programs. Sheree has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit and business management. She loves strategic planning, relationship development, fundraising, project management and specializes in start-ups and turnarounds.
Rachel Bowen, Membership and Business Services Coordinator of Rogers Park Business Alliance
Rachel comes to us from the sunny shores of Southern California. With deep Midwest roots, she has found her home here in Rogers Park. When she isn’t working, she is involved with her very own community, serving as the Manager for Glenwood Sunday Market and as one of the GROW program educators. Rachel has great customer service skills that will be highlighted when she works with Rogers Park businesses. She strives to help others and is looking forward to working with the RPBA team to build a great community.
